Mr. Fischer was a collegiate power-lifting champion and set several school records during the 1970s. During 2011, shortly after his 60th birthday, he Bench Pressed 325 lbs., performed a full squat of 500 lbs., and easily lifted 100 lbs. overhead with one arm.
